Principal Security Technology Strategist
Cloud Software Group
• Discuss security concerns and potential solutions clearly and concisely to an audience with varying levels of technical expertise from CISO to hands-on security practitioners • Provide security-focused guidance and strategy to sales teams • Assess the potential application of Citrix security solutions to meet customers’ business needs • Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations remotely or on-site • Design and build multi-product proof of concept solutions for customer evaluations and guide customers through adoption and expansion • Overcome technical and competitive objections while moving sales and adoption motions forward • Coordinate cross-functional teams and resources to ensure customer success • Keep abreast of latest security strategies to inform and guide customers while shaping product requirements • Develop formal relationship networks with key customer decision-makers and contacts • Contribute to the broader technical sales team’s success with the Citrix Platform and adoption of Citrix security solutions • Implements strategic goals established by functional leadership. • Establishes operational plans for the job area with short-to mid-term impact on product adoption and sales renewal results (e.g., 1-2 years).
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of presales, sales engineer, solution engineer, field CTO, or consulting experience
- 10+ years supporting, designing, or delivering enterprise cybersecurity solutions
- Familiarity with application security, browser security, IAM, and ZTNA
- Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity solutions and design best practices
- Ability to adapt technical presentations to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise (e.g. IT administrators, directors, business stakeholders, and executives)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel to customer sites, corporate offices, and events
