Wholesale Sales Director

Role Description The Wholesale Sales Director is responsible for driving revenue growth for Uniti Wholesale through strategic reseller partnerships. This role focuses on expanding and managing relationships with key partner accounts, identifying new opportunities, and aligning Uniti’s connectivity solutions to partner and end-customer needs. The position requires a strong blend of sales leadership, partner development, and telecom solution selling. - Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow Uniti Wholesale revenue through reseller partners. - Manage and deepen relationships with strategic accounts, including national reseller and aggregator partners. - Identify, qualify, and close new opportunities for DIA, ethernet, wavelength, dark fiber, and other wholesale connectivity solutions. - Collaborate with partner sales teams to drive pipeline development, joint account planning, and win strategies. - Lead contract and pricing discussions in coordination with internal sales engineering, legal, and product teams. - Provide partner enablement, training, and ongoing support to improve partner engagement and sales effectiveness. - Track sales activity, forecast pipeline, and report performance metrics to leadership on a regular basis. - Represent Uniti in customer meetings, partner reviews, and industry events to strengthen market presence. - Work cross-functionally with operations, service delivery, and customer support teams to ensure a strong customer experience from order through installation. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred. - 7–10+ years of sales experience, with significant experience in telecom, fiber infrastructure, wholesale, or reseller sales. - Demonstrated success building high-value partner relationships and driving revenue growth. - Strong understanding of carrier, wholesale, and enterprise connectivity solutions and the telecom sales cycle. - Experience working with large reseller partners, national account structures, and multi-location opportunities. - Strong negotiation, presentation, and executive communication skills. - Ability to analyze pipeline, forecast accurately, and use CRM tools to manage opportunities and partner activity. - Willingness to travel for partner meetings, customer visits, and industry events.
