Job Description

Care Coordinator – Administrator

Ortus - Communication et information en Santé

• Monitor and manage the volume of incoming triage tickets across the GP practices we support, ensuring each is actioned within agreed timeframes. • Accurately record and update information and triage data across clinical systems (EMIS, SystmOne, Docman). • Route and reassign triage tickets to the appropriate GP. • Send patient questionnaires, track their completion, and ensure they're ready for GP review. • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with information governance standards. • Provide general administrative support across the Ortus services • Liaise with practice staff and our clinical team to keep workflows running smoothly and flag issues early.

Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in a GP practice is essential.
  • Hands on experience with clinical systems
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a high volume of tasks accurately in a remote setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, for working with both patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Confident with computers and office software.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work well within a remote team.
  • A calm, accurate, detail-focused approach — much of this role is about making sure nothing slips through the cracks.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • An enhanced DBS check (we will arrange this).
  • Completion of data security and information-governance training (provided by us).
