Senior Systems Analyst

• Provide advanced consultative and functional support for the CAPPS HR/Payroll tower, including Workforce Administration, Payroll Interface, Commitment Accounting, Time and Labor, TAM/CG, and HR security setup, including row-level security. • Ensure CAPPS compliance with the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) by defining leave plans, customizing leave types, and supporting compliance reporting and auditing. • Serve as the functional point of contact for CAPPS agencies, creating and reviewing Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and performing functional configuration changes. • Configure system tables, business units, Set IDs, and table structures, and build workflow configurations using the Approval Workflow Engine (AWE). • Create queries and reports using PS/Query, SAP Business Objects, SQR, and BI Publisher, applying technical knowledge of Application Designer, Integration Broker, and SQL. • Monitor batch job schedules and execution, detect and respond to failures, validate output, manage dependencies, and document performance tuning activities. • Coordinate Fiscal Year-End activities, including reconciliations, system configurations, mass salary loads, and Benefit Enrollment Web Services integration with ERS. • Coordinate the CAPPS Annual Disaster Recovery exercise with the Managed Services vendor, including test scope definition, backup validation, and documentation of results. • Provide Level 2 Service Desk support for complex ticket handling, advanced troubleshooting, and documentation in coordination with the Tier 3 Managed Services vendor. • Participate in Major Incident Management (MIM) for Priority 1 and Priority 2 incidents, perform upgrade testing, ensure WCAG 2.1 accessibility compliance, and apply ITIL principles to IT service and asset management activities.

Role Description This role is responsible for leading the development and integration of system-level, multi-domain simulation models that represent complete vehicle and powertrain behavior, including mechanical, electrical, thermal, and control systems.
