Role Description As a Risk Settlement Senior Consultant at Aon, you will be a key member in our 70–strong Risk Settlement Group, which has a uniquely diverse range of experts and specialist sub-teams. Some of your responsibilities will include: - Senior support or lead transaction adviser on a range of settlement transactions across the pension risk transfer market (including buy-ins, buy-outs, wind-ups, longevity swaps, and consolidation/capital solutions). - Take responsibility for the running of transactions, ensuring they are completed on time and on budget and lead relationships with transaction stakeholders. - Help advise clients on their strategic ‘Journey to Settlement’, including preparation for approaching the settlement market and feasibility. - Create relationships with external stakeholders such as trustees, sponsors and other transaction advisers to help develop settlement opportunities. - Take a central role on new business opportunities and initiatives both internally and externally. - Leverage your knowledge of the settlement market to help provide innovative settlement solutions for our clients. - Support marketing initiatives and media engagement, including our annual marketing campaign and our dedicated risk settlement conference. - Play a role in the growth of the team. - Help develop new strategies and propositions within the Risk Settlement Group and help to implement them on a range of clients. - Coach, mentor and support direct and indirect reports to create future leaders.
