Public Sector Account Executive
Brightspeed
• Drive growth through new logo acquisition within an assigned territory • Drive new business with prospective accounts (zero billers) • Responsible for selling the company’s products and services via telephone/web conference using a solution-based and consultative sales approach • Qualify leads, identify decision makers, determine customer needs, explain product/service variations, overcome customer objections and close sales • Responsible for updating relevant customer information - including sales funnel activity, opportunity updates, maintenance of monthly goals, customer proposals and customer contracts • Provide superior service with every customer interaction
Job Requirements
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent education and 2 years of sales experience
- Prior sales experience with a history of new market growth acquisition in a telecom sales environment
- Strong oral and written communication, analytical problem solving and closing skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
