Job Description

System Analyst/Business Analyst – Payments & Finance Operations

• Translate operational and business requirements into structured product specifications: mock-ups, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria • Work closely with operations and finance teams to understand their day-to-day work and transform it into clear processes • Design operational interfaces and the workflows behind them • Ensure that processes meet regulatory requirements and fit into existing operational journeys • Connect processes to the underlying systems, assess current integration capabilities, and define required changes • Support the migration and extension of existing functionality on the new platform • Hand specifications over to development and support testing, release, acceptance, and stakeholder demos • Support automation across payment platforms, branch cash operations, clearing, reconciliation, and related finance processes • Help reduce manual work and strengthen audit readiness

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a business or system analyst in banking or financial services
  • Solid understanding of banking products, operational processes, and the regulatory environment
  • Knowledge of the payments domain, including card transactions, settlements, clearing, reconciliation, payments, accounting, or operations
  • Hands-on experience designing operational interfaces, complex objects, and workflows
  • Experience working closely with operations teams and embedding new processes into existing journeys
  • Experience designing compliant processes in financial services
  • Understanding of integrations: APIs, queues, and data exchange
  • Experience using logs and data to investigate issues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively across business, operations, finance, and technology teams
  • English B2 — you’ll work with international colleagues
