Job Description

Business Development Officer – SBA Lending

PulseRise Technologies

• Originate bank loans, equipment leasing, and Asset-Based Lending (ABL) transactions nationwide. • Develop and cultivate relationships with brokers and small business owners. • Utilize referrals, networking, and market outreach to generate qualified leads. • Expand market penetration in assigned territories. • Structure financing solutions aligned with client needs and Bank credit standards. • Prepare and submit complete loan packages to underwriting. • Present credit opportunities to the Credit Committee. • Secure signed commitments post-approval and coordinate funding with Operations. • Achieve and exceed annual production targets. • Actively utilize Salesforce and other loan origination systems to manage pipeline. • Collaborate with the Chief Business Development Officer and Marketing team on strategy.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of sales experience in financial services
  • Strong SBA lending experience required
  • Proven production record of $20MM+ annually over the past three years
  • Deep knowledge of SBA loan programs and commercial lending structures
  • Strong credit analysis skills, including financial statements and cash flow evaluation
  • Experience in loan structuring and risk management
  • Exceptional relationship-building and B2B sales capabilities
  • Active referral network preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High-level proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
