• Develop and design creative materials for social media, presentations, email invitations, postcards, publications, event collateral, and more. • Present work with the ability to communicate why creative decisions were made. • Work collaboratively within a team environment on a variety of projects across all of Civic Nation’s initiatives. • Inspire new ways of thinking, using fresh and unique approaches to designs. • Collaborate with our creative team to create strategic solutions to designs and workflows. • Understand Civic Nation’s initiatives and maintain brand guidelines, templates, iconography, typography, illustrations, and visual imagery. • Research, secure, and manage sourced photography that aligns with brand guidelines. • Organize and deliver final files for both print and digital assets. • Troubleshoot technical issues in graphic files for printing and online quality and integrity. • Stay abreast with current design trends and techniques, sharing information and inspiration with creative team members. • Other reasonable and related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of experience creating graphic design work for both print and digital platforms
- Experience in motion design, interaction design, and visual arts is a plus.
- Proven experience in consumer marketing, advocacy, nonprofit, or advertising environments is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Proficiency in Figma for creating and editing visual designs, collaborating with team members, and preparing final assets
- Proficiency in work tools: Google Workspace and MS Office Suite. Slack and Asana are a plus.
