Role Description Razorfish is looking for a Director to join its Data Science and Analytics practice. This is a custom analytics, research and consulting team that delivers data-driven strategic marketing insights to our clients. Each member of the team is aligned to one or more clients and works closely with other DS team members, our clients, and colleagues across other disciplines such as Client Management, Search, Media, Strategy, User Experience, and Technology. In this role you will have ownership of data for at least one client (or portion of a large client) end-to-end and be the data science partner for our client teams. Directors deliver data-driven strategic marketing insights and only need assistance from senior team members for high-level meetings. Directors are expected to manage their engagements and clearly define project deliverables and timelines. Core areas of focus for this role include applications in: - Customer segmentations - Testing framework - Media and advertising measurement and optimization solutions - Personalization - Forecasting Responsibilities include: - Build strategic measurement plans and learning agendas - Oversee implementation of data strategy, ensuring measurement goals are met and KPIs are effectively captured, and data quality is accurate - Understand needs and applications of advanced analytical methods and work with Data Science / Engineering / Instrumentation SMEs to ensure projects are planned and executed correctly - Identify and evaluate potential vendors and socialize vendors within the data team - Ensure statistical concepts are built into appropriate projects, and leverage advanced analytic resources or methods when needed - Provide insight into long-term implications of insights and recommendations across several channels - Guide junior team members to build foundational reports, understand data implications, and presentations that highlight relevant results and proposed actions - Lead cross-capability projects with other teams such as media and product management bringing data capabilities to the overall strategy - Provide thought leadership by bringing new and innovative ways to improve client’s marketing goals, data sophistication, and maturity - Guide strategy and issue resolution by identifying key issues and objectives for prioritization and buy-in - Help clients see longer-term opportunities and keep them informed of industry trends, recommending projects based on those trends - Act as a key client partner for clients, understand client strategy and respond to client needs and feedback appropriately - Support new business pitches and cross-capability engagements - Act as a thought leader or SME within the data capability internally Qualifications - 8-10 years of experience in Marketing Analytics, Digital Marketing, or a business-related field - Strong critical thinking skills, and are proactive about questioning the norm and pushing for improvements - Demonstrated mastery of ad tech, mar tech, and data tools and platforms across multiple channels - Fully able to organize and prepare well-written documents independently, and guides the team in doing the same - Able to synthesize complex analytical approaches and findings articulately and concisely Requirements - Expertise in analytics components of one or more marketing or media platforms such as Adobe, Google, or Salesforce - Data Visualization experience leveraging tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Data Studio or similar Benefits - Paid Family Care for parents and caregivers for 12 weeks or more - Monetary assistance and support for Adoption, Surrogacy, and Fertility - Monetary assistance and support for pet adoption - Employee Assistance Programs and Health/Wellness/Comfort reimbursements to help you invest in your future and work/life balance - Tuition Assistance - Paid time off that includes Flexible Time off, Vacation, Annual Sick Days, Volunteer Days, Holiday and Identity days, and more - Matching Gifts programs - Flexible working arrangements - ‘Work Your World’ Program encouraging employees to work from anywhere - Publicis Groupe has an office for up to 6 weeks a year (based upon eligibility) - Business Resource Groups that support multiple affinities and alliances
