Role Description Negotiators own the settlement and lien phase of every case. You'll work both sides of the recovery: negotiating bodily injury settlements with insurance carriers and reducing liens with subrogation vendors, healthcare plans, Medicare/Medicaid, and ERISA plans, so injured clients are made whole and attorneys can settle files quickly and effectively. - Negotiate bodily injury settlements with insurance carriers and adjusters, pushing for the strongest outcome on every file - Reduce and resolve medical liens - Build settlement breakdowns that reconcile gross recovery against fees, costs, and liens - Coordinate directly between carriers and subrogation companies, owning the back-and-forth - Carry a high volume of files, deadlines, and SLAs at once and follow up relentlessly when the other side goes quiet Qualifications - Have 2+ years in PI lien or settlement negotiation, BI adjusting, or paralegal work - Have coordinated lien resolution directly with subrogation companies (Medicare/Medicaid, ERISA, and health-plan vendors) - Bring a maniacal sense of urgency and extreme ownership by chasing the answer rather than waiting for it - Are highly organized and can juggle dozens of competing deadlines and SLAs - Are comfortable with AI tools and concepts Compensation - $60,000 – $75,000 annual salary + equity Benefits - 100% coverage for health, dental, and vision - 401(k) retirement plan - In-office snacks, drinks, and daily team lunch and dinners - Flexible PTO (we trust you to take the time you need) Company Description At Finch Legal, we believe in practicing what we advocate. The Sr. Foreclosure Specialist will be responsible for monitoring vendor activities during the processing of an eligible foreclosure referral and/or foreclosure referred loan; relative to the accurate and timely handling of residential mortgage in accordance with applicable state requirements. - Effectively collaborate and communicate with support groups within default; to ensure optimal resolution and/or outcome. - Assist with new hire training, as well as meeting preparation with groups outside of immediate work area within a SME capacity. - Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, investor requirements and all US state and federal laws and regulations. - The Target Pay range for this position is $24.00-$27.00 an hour.
