Role Description A respected and growing civil litigation law firm is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney to join their team in Syracuse, New York. This attorney will handle insurance defense matters and work closely with experienced litigators in a collaborative environment. Role Description Trueline is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join their dynamic and collaborative litigation team in Long Beach, CA, in the Insurance Defense/Personal Injury field and offering a really flexible hybrid schedule. Must-Haves as the Litigation Attorney: - Active California Bar license, in good standing. - Minimum 3-7 years of litigation experience, ideally including insurance defense or personal injury matters. - Excellent legal writing, analytical, and communication skills. - Proficient in legal research tools and case management platforms (e.g., NetDocuments, Centerbase). - Ability to prioritize multiple matters independently while remaining a strong team player. What You'll Do as the Litigation Attorney: - Manage all phases of litigation including case strategy, pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial prep across a diverse docket—especially personal injury and insurance defense. - Conduct in-depth legal research and draft persuasive pleadings, motions, and discovery-related documents. - Prepare and defend clients in depositions; take fact and expert witness depositions with strategic focus. - Collaborate with attorneys and support staff on trial prep, site investigations, and evidentiary hearings. Nice-to-Haves as the Litigation Associate: - Background in complex litigation or other areas such as corporate or construction law. - Hands-on trial experience or courtroom advocacy background. - Enthusiasm for mentorship, professional development, and long-term firm growth.
