Cloud & Technical FinOps Engineer – AWS, MS Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud

• Advising our clients and working on platforms such as Google Cloud Platform as well as AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, or hybrid environments • Point of contact and implementer for technical inquiries and solutions (in the context of Technical FinOps, cloud governance, architecture, Kubernetes, migration strategies, etc.) • Designing and developing cloud migration strategies with FinOps considerations • Technical consulting for the introduction of cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) across various platforms and their technical implementation • Advising on the adoption of FinOps principles and FinOps strategies • Standardizing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery • Evaluating system and software engineering tools and processes • Developing system specifications for our clients' environments

Job Requirements

  • Experience with public clouds (Google Cloud Platform or AWS, Alibaba Cloud or Azure)
  • Experience with cloud infrastructures and architectures
  • Initial cloud certifications desirable (e.g., CKAD)
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, automation, CI/CD, Terraform, IaC, or similar
  • Interest in AI/ML systems in the context of FinOps
  • Basic programming and/or scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.)
  • Experience with Cloud Identity & Access Management desirable
  • Knowledge of serverless architectures and API management
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and auditing on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS CloudWatch & CloudTrail, Elasticsearch)
  • Basic understanding of FinOps and related principles
  • Fluent in German and English
