US HR Specialist
Global Finance Teams
• Prepare and distribute HR documents for both employees and contractors (offer letters, employment verifications, policy acknowledgements, etc.) • Support employee status changes, including promotions, transfers, compensation updates, and terminations. • Provide administrative support across People Operations initiatives • Respond to employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and HR programs. • Support employee engagement initiatives, surveys, recognition programs, and company events. • Help drive positive employee experiences throughout the employee lifecycle. • Coordinate interviews and candidate scheduling when needed • Manage job postings across hiring platforms • Support candidate communication and interview logistics • Help maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. • Assist with audits and reporting requests • Manage employee data and maintain accurate records in HRIS and personnel files. • Help update internal HR policies and procedures • Support payroll processes by providing accurate employee data and change reporting. • Facilitate a high-touch onboarding experience by coordinating welcome sessions and ensuring new hires have access to essential tools and platforms. • Serve as a point of contact for new employees, helping them navigate their first 90 days at Meru. • Assist with the full-cycle offboarding process, including preparing final documentation. • Support the coordination of exit interviews and ensure a respectful transition for departing team members.
Job Requirements
- Experience: 2-3+ years of US HR specialist experience, preferably within a startup environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on empathy and clarity.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to quickly learn new tools and a solution-oriented approach to technology.

Role Description Entrerai nel team People & Culture come HR Operations Manager, riportando direttamente alla Head of People & Culture, e avrai un ruolo centrale nel funzionamento dell'azienda, gestendo in totale autonomia tutta l'operatività HR, amministrativa e di compliance dei nostri hub — il tutto interamente da remoto, senza necessità di spostarti sui magazzini. - Sarai il punto di riferimento operativo della funzione People per tutta la popolazione aziendale — impiegati e personale operativo, dalle sedi corporate agli hub — con piena ownership sull'esecuzione amministrativa e operativa; - Gestirai in autonomia l'intero ciclo amministrativo del personale: onboarding amministrativo, contratti e variazioni, presenze, ferie e permessi, cessazioni e pratiche TFR, in costante raccordo con il consulente del lavoro che elabora le paghe; - Presidierai offboarding e provvedimenti disciplinari — dimissioni, licenziamenti, contestazioni — gestendo tempi, costi e correttezza formale con il supporto della consulenza legale e del lavoro, battendo le scadenze invece di subirle; - Supporterai la Head of People su salute e sicurezza sul lavoro e compliance (RSPP e medico competente, DVR, adempimenti HACCP per i siti operativi, collocamento obbligatorio L. 68/99), curandone l'esecuzione operativa e i rapporti con fornitori e referenti on-site, interamente da remoto; - Gestirai strumenti, fornitori e dotazioni HR: gestionali HR/ATS, consulente del lavoro, fornitori HSE, parco device, parco auto e materiali aziendali; - Proporrai e metterai a terra le policy e le procedure operative costruendole insieme alla Head of People — trasferte, lettere di richiamo, gestione documentale per audit e controlli; - Lavorerai a stretto contatto con la Head of People & Culture, con impatto diretto sulla solidità e sulla scalabilità dell'azienda.
