Senior SEO / AIO / AEO Webmaster

Role Description We are seeking a Senior SEO / AIO / AEO Webmaster to drive search performance, website optimisation, and AI-powered digital initiatives across a portfolio of client accounts. This role combines technical SEO, website management, AI-assisted research, and hands-on implementation. You will be responsible for: - Improving website performance - Executing SEO strategies - Managing websites across platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, and Shopify - Supporting emerging AI search initiatives The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who can work autonomously, manage multiple projects, and translate strategic recommendations into practical execution. This is initially a part-time role (approximately 80 hours per month) with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position as the business expands. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in SEO, website development, or digital marketing - Experience working for clients in AU/UK/US/CA or similar markets - Strong technical SEO knowledge and implementation experience - Hands-on experience managing or developing websites in WordPress, Webflow, and Shopify - Strong understanding of website architecture, technical optimisation, and user experience principles - Experience conducting keyword research, competitor analysis, and SEO audits - Familiarity with AI tools and their application in research, content planning, and workflow optimisation - Understanding of AI Optimisation (AIO) and Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) concepts - Experience with SEO platforms such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, or similar tools - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervision - Excellent written and verbal English communication skills Requirements - Fully remote position - Initially approximately 80 hours per month - Opportunity to increase to full-time as the business expands - Flexible working arrangement with some overlap to Australian business hours - High degree of autonomy and ownership - Direct collaboration with agency leadership - Exposure to a variety of client industries, websites, and digital marketing projects - Opportunity to help shape the agency's approach to AI-driven search and website optimisation
