Role Description The consultancy will provide technical research, drafting, synthesis, and editorial support to IOM in the development of the Compendium of Best Practices on Disaster Management: Commemorating 20 Years of AADMER to contribute to the implementation of the AADMER Work Programme 2026-2030. The Compendium will serve as a strategic knowledge product documenting ASEAN’s achievements, best practices, and lessons learned in disaster management at both regional and national levels over the past two decades. - Support the development of the Compendium through technical coordination, stakeholder engagement, quality assurance, and knowledge management support. - Undertake a desk review, develop the Compendium outline, consolidate stakeholder contributions, and prepare draft and final versions of the Compendium for review and finalization. - Highlight innovative approaches and good practices that have strengthened disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and regional cooperation under AADMER and its successive Work Programmes. - Identify key lessons, opportunities, and actionable recommendations to enhance regional coordination, institutional resilience, capacity building, and future disaster management efforts across ASEAN. - Carry out the assignment in consultation with relevant stakeholders, with draft outputs subject to review by IOM and ASEAN stakeholders prior to finalization. Qualifications - Experience in disaster management, research, and policy development. - Strong analytical and drafting skills. - Proficiency in English; language skills from ASEAN countries are considered an advantage. Requirements - Eligible only for ASEAN Member State Nationals and open to external candidates only. - Ability to work remotely with potential travel to selected ASEAN Member States if required and subject to approval. - Experience in engaging with stakeholders and coordinating technical inputs. • Search for and confirm travel reservations for clients • Have a strong understanding of client travel policies and consistently provide guidance to clients • Fulfill all requests regarding applicable regulations (DOT, TSA, passports, visas, etc.) • Provide clients with required industry information, such as low fares, currency exchange costs, and penalties • Identify opportunities to review operational processes and commercial relationships with clients and propose improvements • Maintain, actively communicate, and continuously expand knowledge of the supported travel industries

Role Description The Senior Project Consultant is a highly skilled consulting professional within the Project Operations Team, responsible for leading complex project scopes, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the highest quality of project delivery. This role requires exceptional independence, judgment, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on project execution. - Lead multiple or complex project scopes, ensuring delivery excellence, accuracy, and timeliness across all assigned projects. - Serve as a primary client contact, managing expectations, fostering relationships, and ensuring satisfaction and alignment. - Provide direction and oversight for Project Analysts, Associate Project Consultants, and Project Consultants to ensure consistency and quality in project execution. - Develop and deliver sophisticated written deliverables, such as proposals, reports, and strategic recommendations. - Oversee planning and execution of project meetings, workshops, and presentations with internal and external stakeholders. - Anticipate and address client needs proactively, serving as a problem-solver and thought partner. - Support the design and development of scopes, budgets, and proposals for new or expanding engagements. - Collaborate closely with the Project Leadership Team and Business Operations to ensure alignment of project budgets, staffing, and performance metrics. - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and quality standards. - Contribute to internal learning and development initiatives to strengthen Momentum’s delivery capacity. - Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements - 6–8 years of relevant experience in consulting, project management, or public-sector program execution. - Proven success in writing and translating complex scientific concepts, like emissions data and engineering schematics, into clear, compelling narratives and professional documents. - Demonstrated success leading complex projects and maintaining long-term client relationships. - Experience mentoring or guiding team members preferred.
