Role Description The Senior Project Consultant is a highly skilled consulting professional within the Project Operations Team, responsible for leading complex project scopes, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the highest quality of project delivery. This role requires exceptional independence, judgment, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on project execution. - Lead multiple or complex project scopes, ensuring delivery excellence, accuracy, and timeliness across all assigned projects. - Serve as a primary client contact, managing expectations, fostering relationships, and ensuring satisfaction and alignment. - Provide direction and oversight for Project Analysts, Associate Project Consultants, and Project Consultants to ensure consistency and quality in project execution. - Develop and deliver sophisticated written deliverables, such as proposals, reports, and strategic recommendations. - Oversee planning and execution of project meetings, workshops, and presentations with internal and external stakeholders. - Anticipate and address client needs proactively, serving as a problem-solver and thought partner. - Support the design and development of scopes, budgets, and proposals for new or expanding engagements. - Collaborate closely with the Project Leadership Team and Business Operations to ensure alignment of project budgets, staffing, and performance metrics. - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and quality standards. - Contribute to internal learning and development initiatives to strengthen Momentum’s delivery capacity. - Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements - 6–8 years of relevant experience in consulting, project management, or public-sector program execution. - Proven success in writing and translating complex scientific concepts, like emissions data and engineering schematics, into clear, compelling narratives and professional documents. - Demonstrated success leading complex projects and maintaining long-term client relationships. - Experience mentoring or guiding team members preferred. • Enterprise client and partner leadership (above the project and program level) including Steering Committee representation • Responsible for identifying KPI’s, success factors and growing the business. • Accountable for discovering, sourcing and analyzing customer digital channel visions (how it would connect back to their experience within “Analytics” systems • Works with product teams to shape the strategy and capabilities for key digital consulting engagements, supporting the evolution of the product and delivery roadmap • Lead and co-deliver strategy consulting engagements (i.e. digital transformation, customer journey, digital marketing, etc.) • Establishes cross-functional operation. Builds support and alignment across a wide range of stakeholders, creates a strong network of relationships among peers, partners, decision makers and stakeholders • Anticipate problems and recommend innovative solutions. • Provide technical coordination and substantive support to resource mobilization efforts. • Ensure alignment with donor or financing partner priorities and requirements. • Develop, write, and submit expressions of interest, concept notes, funding proposals, and related donor-facing materials. • Source and synthesize country/regional evidence, GPW14 indicators, lessons learned, and case studies. • Translate internal budget formats into donor templates and develop clear and coherent budget narratives. • Draft cover letters, talking points, and contribute to high-stakes correspondence with donors. • Develop investment cases and investment-ready financing proposals tailored to financing partner priorities. • Coordinate development and consolidation of all proposal and investment case components. • Ensure proposals and investment cases comply with UN and WHO guidelines and principles. • Participate in after-action reviews to capture lessons learned and support continuous improvement.
