Associate Director, Strategic Planning – Operations

• As a member of the Global Quality Strategy organization team, this individual will manage projects and initiatives in Global Quality portfolio in support of the end-to-end GxP operating model. • Partner with cross functional senior management to ensure successful execution, tracking and value realization of critical initiatives and projects aligned with Global Quality GxP operating model. • Stand up, own and facilitate governance and processes intended to advance Global Quality strategy and objectives. • Perform analysis to identify improvement opportunities and make recommendations to management. • Apply emerging technologies, such as AI, to the lifecycle management of global Quality projects and strategic initiatives. • Analyze critical path items and constraints to schedules, recommending solutions to remove any roadblocks using a proactive approach. • Identify core KPIs aligned with pivotal initiatives and projects. • Provide leadership to key initiatives and strategic projects, including driving program management, content creation, and presentation. • Continuously track and communicate progress and adherence to strategic initiatives and projects.
Job Requirements
- Doctorate degree and 3 years of Quality and/or Operational Excellence experience OR Master’s degree and 5 years of Quality and/or Operational Excellence experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of Quality and/or Operational Excellence experience OR Associate’s degree and 12 years of Quality and/or Operational Excellence experience OR High school diploma / GED and 14 years of Quality and/or Operational Excellence experience
- Direct experience partnering with and influencing leadership and customers
- Direct experience in cross-functional business operations and strategic project management role
- Ability to effectively present ideas and document complex concepts and processes in both written & oral communication
- Understanding of Quality and GxP
- Demonstrated ability to execute and manage complex projects and programs
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen
- Understanding of emerging technologies, such as AI, and their application to day-to-day activities
- Strong and broad understanding of Global Quality functional interdependencies.
- Highly structured and organized
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and supporting functions (e.g., Technology, Finance)
- Adapting and thriving in a rapidly changing and fast-moving environment
