• Lead end-to-end implementations and support projects for Oracle Transportation Management (OTM). • Gather and analyze business requirements related to transportation and logistics operations. • Configure and implement OTM modules and business processes. • Design transportation planning solutions including shipment consolidation, route optimization, and load planning. • Configure: Rate Management, Itinerary Management, Carrier Management, Service Providers, Order Release Management, Shipment Planning, Fleet Management, Business Process Automation Agents. • Set up transportation networks, locations, regions, and routing guides. • Configure and manage freight rating, freight payment, and freight settlement processes. • Develop and support integrations between OTM and external systems using XML, REST APIs, SOAP, and integration middleware. • Configure event management, tracking, visibility, and exception handling processes. • Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, and performance testing. • Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application support. • Create functional specifications, configuration documents, and user training materials. • Collaborate with business users to identify process improvements and optimization opportunities.
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) implementation and support.
- Strong hands-on experience with: Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), Transportation Planning, Freight Management, Carrier Management, Logistics Execution.
- Strong understanding of: Transportation Lifecycle Management, Freight Rating and Routing, Shipment Consolidation, Load Planning, Freight Settlement, Tendering Processes, Transportation Visibility, Logistics Operations.
- Experience configuring: Rates and Rate Records, Itineraries, Locations and Regions, Service Providers, Equipment Profiles, Agent Actions, Automation Workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Technology, or related field.
- Oracle Transportation Management Certification is preferred.
