A combination of formal education and significant professional experience may be considered. - Licensed and practicing Paralegal in good standing in British Columbia. - Minimum 5 years of recent, relevant experience working as a paralegal or legal professional in BC. - Demonstrated knowledge of British Columbia's legal system, court procedures, and administrative processes. - Proficiency in legal research, legal writing, and case management software (e.g., Clio, PCLaw, Amicus Attorney). - Strong understanding of legal ethics, confidentiality, and professional responsibility. - Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and support diverse learners. - Experience with instruction, training, or mentoring in an academic or professional setting preferred. - Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), such as Canvas, considered an asset. - Experience in curriculum or program development considered an asset.
