Role Description We are partnering with a leading blockchain infrastructure company that is building secure, scalable, and enterprise-grade distributed ledger technology powering next-generation Web3 applications. As the platform expands its protocol capabilities, smart contract ecosystem, and cross-chain infrastructure, the security team is seeking a highly skilled Product Security Engineer to proactively identify vulnerabilities, strengthen protocol security, and protect critical blockchain systems before they reach production. What You'll Do - Conduct end-to-end security assessments across blockchain protocols, smart contracts, cryptographic systems, and infrastructure. - Identify real-world vulnerabilities through manual review, adversarial testing, and proof-of-concept exploit development. - Design and execute security testing strategies for protocol components, cross-chain bridges, and distributed systems. - Lead threat modeling exercises and security architecture reviews. - Define and enforce security gates throughout the software development lifecycle. - Collaborate closely with engineering teams to prioritize and remediate security risks. - Build and improve security tooling, fuzzing frameworks, and CI/CD security automation. - Research emerging Web3 attack vectors and proactively mitigate potential threats. Qualifications - Strong hands-on experience in vulnerability discovery and security testing across blockchain systems. - Proven ability to identify real vulnerabilities beyond automated scanning tools. - Experience performing threat modeling and security architecture reviews. - Deep understanding of blockchain security, smart contracts, nodes, APIs, and distributed systems. - Experience assessing cryptographic protocols, trust models, or cross-chain infrastructure. - Strong knowledge of applied cryptography and modern security principles. - Ability to audit and review Rust and/or Java codebases. - Understanding of memory safety, secret management, and secure software development practices. Requirements - Experience developing fuzzing infrastructure or advanced security testing frameworks. - Experience with static analysis, dynamic analysis, and automated security tooling. - Background in consensus-layer security or blockchain protocol development. - Experience auditing cross-chain bridges. - Knowledge of threshold signature systems, multisig architectures, and oracle security. - Experience integrating AI-assisted workflows into security review processes. • Support GSA FAS/ASD in maturing its Cybersecurity Supply Chain Risk Management program • Assess current C-SCRM practices and improve documentation and risk assessment processes • Support development of a C-SCRM Strategy and Implementation Plan • Advise stakeholders on cybersecurity, supplier risk, acquisition risk, and emerging technology considerations • Develop C-SCRM guides, standard operating procedures, frameworks, briefings, and other written deliverables as requested

• Proactively engage with clients as a trusted advisor to understand security challenges, business priorities, and risk posture, and align those to New Era and partner solutions • Partner with Account Managers and Sales Directors to drive cybersecurity pipeline, opportunity qualification, and deal progression within key accounts • Provide pre-sales support in collaboration with sales and engineering teams to shape solutions that align to customer business and technical requirements • Present and articulate New Era's cybersecurity value proposition to executive stakeholders — including CIO, CISO, CFO, and board-level — from both a business and technical perspective • Lead a services-led, consultative sales approach, ensuring strong alignment between advisory, integration, and managed security offerings • Define requirements, solution approach, and value positioning and transition to Cyber Solutions Architects for detailed design and delivery alignment • Develop and execute account-level security strategies aligned to modern architectural frameworks such as zero trust, including mapping stakeholders, identifying priorities, and aligning solutions to business outcomes • Advise clients on AI security posture, including LLM and GenAI risk, AI governance, and AI-augmented security operations • Drive field enablement by coaching sales teams on cybersecurity positioning, qualification, and messaging to increase pipeline and win rates • Establish and maintain relationships with key technology partners to support account alignment, deal registration, and joint go-to-market motions • Identify opportunities to expand consulting, integration, and managed security services within client environments • Monitor market trends, competitive positioning, and emerging technologies to inform strategy and differentiate New Era's cybersecurity offerings • Contribute to the development of repeatable offerings, messaging, and go-to-market strategies to scale the cybersecurity business • Demonstrate industry thought leadership to strengthen New Era's market presence and credibility in cybersecurity

• Provides technical leadership and is responsible for determining the direction for the IT architecture, standards, design and implementation approaches for the company’s application systems • Creates, evaluates and implements plans and design proposals for high impact IT solutions • Be responsible for the management of enterprise application and software security standards and promote their use and enhancement with new or existing solutions • Provide architectural and design guidance for enterprise-wide key projects and strategic initiatives as it relates to the information security and privacy • Promote Secure Software Development practices to development teams • Lead and conduct secure software development training and awareness sessions for development teams
