Service Sales Specialist
Hitachi
• Proactively manage and develop service sales opportunities within the assigned install base across Ireland. • Identify customer needs and promote appropriate service solutions, including maintenance contracts, upgrades, retrofits, spare parts, and digital services. • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor for service-related solutions. • Generate and manage sales leads, from opportunity identification through to order intake. • Collaborate closely with the Service Operations, Engineering, and Digital teams to ensure technically and commercially robust proposals. • Prepare and present service proposals, quotations, and commercial offers in line with Hitachi Energy processes. • Support contract renewals, upselling, and cross-selling activities across the service portfolio. • Maintain accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting using internal CRM and sales tools. • Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities. • Ensure full compliance with Hitachi Energy policies, including Health, Safety, Quality, and Ethics requirements.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in service sales, technical sales, or a similar customer-facing commercial role.
- Background in electrical engineering, power systems, energy, or industrial services is highly desirable.
- Experience working with installed base customers and lifecycle service offerings.
- Familiarity with digital services, condition monitoring, or data-driven service solutions is an advantage.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a wider service.
