Technical Project Manager

• Partner with business units to identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities • Conduct stakeholder interviews and requirements gathering sessions • Translate business needs into technical requirements and project scopes • Build and maintain strong relationships across departments • Manage IT project and portfolio intake, prioritization, and delivery using Jira • Maintain portfolio roadmaps and ensure strategic alignment with business objectives • Oversee multiple concurrent projects from initiation through delivery • Allocate resources effectively across the project portfolio • Track project dependencies, risks, and interdependencies across initiatives • Establish and monitor project timelines, budgets, and success criteria • Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives for IT projects • Create performance dashboards and ROI analyses for automation initiatives • Measure and report on project portfolio health and delivery metrics • Facilitate AI adoption and change management across the organization • Develop training materials and conduct user enablement sessions • Monitor adoption rates and gather feedback for continuous improvement • Provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders • Manage vendor relationships and external resources • Create and maintain project management standards and best practices • Ensure compliance with IT governance and security requirements

Job Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in IT project management, business systems, or technology consulting
  • Strong expertise in Jira for project and portfolio management​, including custom workflows, dashboards, and reporting
  • Proven track record delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget
  • Experience managing project portfolios​, including intake, prioritization, and resource allocation
  • Experience with SaaS ecosystems, workflow automation, and system integrations
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies and automation platforms
  • Excellent business acumen and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
  • Outstanding communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
  • Professional certifications: PMP, CBAP, Agile/Scrum, or equivalent
  • ​Jira administration or Jira Portfolio/Advanced Roadmaps certification
  • Experience with change management frameworks and adoption strategies
  • Background in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Familiarity with ITIL or similar IT service management frameworks
  • Experience managing AI or automation implementation projects
  • Experience with Confluence for documentation and knowledge management
