Role Description MOXFIVE is looking for the weekend warriors, the late-night crusaders, or any variation in between to do investigative work at a pace that matches your lifestyle. You’ll be joining a seasoned team of high performing incident response consultants as part of our contract bench that are the tip of the spear for all forensic activity at MOXFIVE. With that, you’ll be eligible for picking up live response work and analysis to support breaches ranging from ransomware to nation-state threats at a schedule that makes sense for you. Your analysis expands our capacity to support clients at the highest level of quality. Qualifications - Experience responding to threat activity as an IR consultant or SOC analyst - Strong understanding of Windows/Mac/Linux fundamentals, forensic artifacts, BEC analysis, and network analysis - Existing knowledge or passion to learn cloud-native investigations across AWS, GCP, and Azure - An unwavering emphasis on investigation at the highest level of quality - Perspective and voice to continue to shape our practice - At least a few free hours a week on your schedule to take on IR work. • Design and build backend services, APIs, and workflow systems for scalable software platforms. • Solve distributed-systems problems and turn complexity into reliable, maintainable software. • Shape architecture, improve core platform capabilities, and deliver valuable features for users and customers. • Collaborate closely with customers responding to cyber incidents to improve their outcomes.

• Define and drive MOXFIVE's core brand voice - ensuring every external touchpoint reflects the authority, precision, and trust that our work earns every day • Build and lead an integrated communications strategy that puts MOXFIVE in front of cybersecurity, legal, insurance, and private equity audiences - where it matters most • Oversee PR initiatives including media relationships, press releases, award submissions, and speaking engagements that amplify our executive and brand presence • Lead communications through organizational milestones - acquisitions, partnerships, launches - with the clarity and consistency that keeps internal and external audiences aligned • Create and oversee content - blogs, white papers, case studies, web copy, presentations - that reflects the depth of MOXFIVE's technical expertise and market differentiation • Partner directly with our Technical Advisors to extract real-world IR insight and turn it into market-facing narratives that competitors simply can't replicate • Develop thought leadership programs and executive visibility campaigns that position MOXFIVE as the authority in cybersecurity and incident response • Build and optimize an SEO and content strategy that drives qualified inbound traffic and consistently outpaces industry benchmarks • Run day-to-day marketing operations - campaign planning, budget management, asset development, and project coordination — with the rigor and accountability of a seasoned operator • Establish KPIs, track performance, and deliver data-driven recommendations to leadership with a focus on inbound growth, engagement, retention, and brand reach • Manage external vendors and agencies across design, PR, and digital to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget • Support sales enablement with collateral, presentations, and audience segmentation strategies that give the business development team sharp tools to work with • Strengthen MOXFIVE's conference and industry event presence through content, branding, and promotional strategy that makes us memorable in the right rooms • Develop client-focused strategies - including customer journey programs - that improve satisfaction and drive retention • Identify and build strategic partnerships with industry associations, advisory boards, and professional organizations that expand our brand reach and credibility

• You’ll be joining a seasoned team of high performing incident response consultants that are the tip of the spear for all forensic activity at MOXFIVE. • Supporting and leading meaningful cases across traditional enterprise and cloud-native environments. • Collaborate with client teams during investigations with confidence and empathy.

• Coordinate incident response projects across concurrent technical workstreams keeping everything and everyone aligned • Serve as the connection between clients, technical teams, legal counsel, and internal MOXFIVE stakeholders • Own project documentation: trackers, status reports, milestone logs, deliverable schedules, call cadence • Generate Statements of Work, change orders, and level of efforts with clear scope and pricing • Compile and distribute timely status updates that tell the story of where an engagement stands • Monitor project budgets, track time and expenses, and flag potential scope creep before they become a problem • Coordinate scheduling for client meetings, technical activities, and stakeholder briefings across a portfolio of active engagements • Identify and surface project risks early, working with stakeholders to keep things on course • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (roughly once every six weeks) to support active incident response operations • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of MOXFIVE's project management processes and systems

• Lead end-to-end restoration project management for large-scale enterprise incidents • Serve as the strategic point of contact for C-suite executives, legal counsel, insurance carriers, and technical partners • Build and maintain comprehensive restoration roadmaps, master server trackers, dependency maps, and executive dashboards • Independently analyze server tiering, application dependencies, and restoration sequencing • Coordinate across multiple concurrent workstreams • Make real-time calls on resource allocation, priority shifts, and approach changes • Lead war room discussions and executive briefings • Challenge technical assumptions and drive alignment across stakeholder groups • Mentor Technical and Incident Project Managers, and contribute to MOXFIVE's restoration methodology and process development • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule with extended availability during assigned critical incidents
