Job Description

Audio/Visual Sales Representative

Daktronics

• Leverage sales experience to strategically build relationships • Understand and successfully articulate the benefits of indoor LED displays compared to other technologies • Proactively cold call AV Integrators to educate on Daktronics products • Develop strategy to onboard target integrators • Collaborate with AV Sales team to gather market intelligence and effective strategies • Understand project and customer needs and involve appropriate sales and support teams • Develop and present dynamic presentations in various settings • Develop weekly sales plan including customer meetings, presentations, trade shows, cold calls, and planned calls • Utilize Salesforce to manage accounts, sales opportunities, leads, and all customer management functions • Work schedule includes evenings, weekends, and overnight travel

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, marketing, technical area, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Effectively exercise discretion and independent judgement
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to meet all workplace safety requirements
  • Preference for 3-5 years of field sales experience including negotiating and purchase agreements
  • Experience selling to or working in the Audio-Visual Industry is a plus
  • Strong computer skills to include but not limited to Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce, and LinkedIn.
  • Previous experience using Salesforce is a plus
