Director of Client Strategy

Role Description This role exists to define and advance the alignment between Hines capabilities, client needs, and measurable business outcomes. This role sits at the intersection of sales, clinical operations, and strategy, ensuring complex capabilities are translated into clear, differentiated value that supports growth and market positioning. Working cross-functionally, this role provides strategic input on program positioning, solution alignment, and market differentiation. This is a client-facing, strategically focused role that includes direct sales while influencing growth, informed decision-making, and strengthening solution alignment. This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. This is a fully remote position! Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree required; experience in Healthcare, Sales and/or Account Management. - Experience and proven ability to engage and influence client stakeholders, including executive leadership, across cross-functional and dynamic environments. - Demonstrates strength in combining analytics, market insight, and business judgement to inform strategic, value-driven decision-making. - Experience or degree in marketing strongly considered. - Demonstrates success in strategic and solution-oriented sales of complex products/services, with superb communication skills, including the ability to present to C suite leaders and develop clear, concise, and well-synthesized proposals. - Degree in Healthcare Informatics strongly encouraged. - Strong decision-making and sales negotiation skills. - Experience in relationship building and communication skills, with a positive, energetic approach to engaging clients, stakeholders, and leadership, and navigating complex or difficult conversations. - Experienced in analyzing and identifying competitive threats, defensive measures, and supporting the development of strategic responses and innovative solutions to drive client retention and growth. - Ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the Hines organization and influence cross-functional teams. - PC proficiency to include MS Office, Adobe, and CRM tools a plus. - Driver’s License Required. - Remote or office based with the ability to travel for client meetings, conferences, strategic engagements, and internal Hines team events. Responsibilities - Partner and provide direct sales on opportunities to strengthen positioning and value communication. - Translate complex clinical and operational capabilities into clear and impactful client value. - Shape strategic discussions to improve alignment between client needs and proposed solutions. - Analyze pipeline trends and performance to identify opportunities for improved alignment and positioning. - Provide strategic insight to strengthen pipeline alignment, positioning, and overall success. - Collaborate across internal teams to ensure coordination and consistency. - Engage with prospective and existing clients to build relationships. - Direct client and prospect inquiries to appropriate internal teams for timely follow-up. - Identify and analyze insights from client and market engagement to inform internal alignment and positioning. - Represent Hines in client and industry settings, including meetings and events. - Strengthen Hines’ presence and credibility by bringing clinical insight, subject matter expertise, and EBP.
