Job Description

EP Mapping Specialist

Medtronic

• Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on the EP mapping and navigation system and all CAS products. • Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to CAS products and related procedures. • Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures. • Understand and support national, regional, and territory sales objectives to achieve or exceed sales goals within all CAS products. • Develop and cultivate customer relationships resulting in incremental business. • Work in partnership with Account Manager, Regional Manager, and Area Directors to identify potential sales opportunities. • Collaborate and strategize with local sales team to conduct customer training for mapping and other CA Solutions products. • Collaborate and communicate with the sales and clinical teams in the region. • Serves as an effective Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding Medtronic CAS products, service, and support. • Serve as a regional champion to share your experience and influence others to be proficient in the mapping technology.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma PLUS a minimum of 6 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.
  • OR Associate degree PLUS a minimum of 4 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.
  • OR Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 2 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.
  • B.A./B.S. Degree in nursing, cardiovascular, life sciences, or technical discipline with minimum of four years’ work experience in cardiac field, hospital/clinic or sales.
  • Proven track record with technical training assignments.
  • Experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, in a hospital/clinic or EP medical sales providing technical/clinical support.
