Trade Marketing Manager – France, Southern Europe
WHOOP
• Develop and execute omnichannel trade marketing plans to drive awareness, acquisition, and engagement through retail and distribution channels in France / Southern Europe. • Localise global marketing initiatives and assets to align with regional market trends, cultural nuances, and retail partner needs, ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints. • Work alongside retailer marketing & commercial teams to enhance WHOOP brand positioning across France / Southern Europe. • Brief, create and deploy effective point-of-sale (POS) materials, in-store displays, ATL and digital activation across social, CRM and online platforms. • Develop and manage training initiatives for retail associates to boost product knowledge and customer engagement. • Use data to analysis campaign performance and optimise for future success. • Plan and execute trade and retail events—including partner activations, experiential pop-ups and trade initiatives to enhance brand visibility, drive sell-through, and support product launches across the region. • Monitor account and activity performance, leveraging sales and market insights to inform trade marketing strategies, optimize partner pipelines, and maximize ROI across omni-channel efforts. • Manage budgets and external vendors to ensure efficient and high-quality execution of marketing campaigns and activations. • Work with EU Trade Marketing Lead to assess European market trends, competitor positioning, pricing trends, and customer needs to deliver actionable insights that shape retailer pipelines and marketing strategies. • Partner with Sales, Brand Marketing, Visual Merchandising, and Creative teams to build and deliver integrated campaigns, promotional plans, and training initiatives that elevate WHOOP’s in-store and digital presence. • Build and maintain strong relationships with regional clusters to drive alignment across operations, marketing, product, and finance and ultimate commercial success.
Job Requirements
- Fluent in both French and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication is essential. Additional languages (Spanish or Portuguese) are a bonus - please reference them in your application.
- 5+ years of experience in trade marketing, or retail marketing, ideally within the healthtech, consumer electronics, or premium consumer goods space.
- Experience with distributor and third party retail partner relationships in France / Southern Europe , including support for in-store activations and events.
- Deep understanding of the French / Southern Europe region with proven experience adapting marketing strategies to local market dynamics and consumer behaviors.
- Proven ability to execute high-quality omni-channel campaigns across in-store and online activations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong cross-functional and geographical collaboration skills as well as excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building with key stakeholders.
- Ability to travel freely (up to 50%), across France & Southern Europe and visits to WHOOP HQ in Boston, MA.
