Maven Clinic
• Provide virtual care and support to adult members via 40-minute video consults and asynchronous messaging around: • Pregnancy, postpartum, peri-menopause, menopause • Adoption, surrogacy, fertility, egg freezing, loss, return-to-work • Anxiety, depression, personality disorder, bipolar disorder, etc. • Balancing work-life and parent life • Parent and family coaching • Use brief solution-focused therapy to address immediate issues so client can leaves with tools and skills • Collaborate with Maven’s Care Advocate team to ensure member needs are met, including recommendations for in-person referrals, follow-ups, etc. • Serve as an ambassador of Maven’s unique care model, providing culturally humble care and championing our belief that better outcomes for women and families mean a better world for everyone.
Job Requirements
- Fluency in German and English (spoken and written)
- Must be located in Germany
- Valid, independent licensure in Germany as one of the following, in accordance with German professional regulation:
- Psychologische(r) Psychotherapeut/in (licensed psychological psychotherapist under the PsychThG)
- Ärztliche(r) Psychotherapeut/in / Facharzt/Fachärztin für Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie
- Or equivalent regulated psychotherapeutic qualification recognised within the EU with independent practice authority in Germany
- Registration and good standing with the appropriate regional licensing chamber (Psychotherapeutenkammer or medical chamber, as applicable)
- Experience delivering structured, evidence-based psychotherapy (e.g., CBT, ACT, DBT-informed approaches, or other guideline-based modalities)
- 3+ years of post-licensure clinical experience as an independently practicing mental health professional
- Ability to provide approximately 2 hours of direct member care per week, with potential for expansion (part-time, independent contractor role)
- Strong understanding of culturally responsive and perinatal/family mental health care
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to clinical documentation standards
