Senior Associate, Data Cloud Applications Description Zeta Global is seeking a Senior Associate for our Data Cloud Applications team to drive operational excellence, client support, and solution innovation. This role provides critical leverage to the team by driving outcomes for Zeta’s key agency platform partners. The Senior Associate will work closely with the partners to help them win new business, grow existing accounts, and maintain their competitive edge. They will collaborate with the broader team and manage cross-functional collaboration to deliver strategic solutions and meet client goals. They will provide thought leadership and tactical support to drive adoption of Zeta’s Data Cloud solutions and will play a key role in informing Zeta’s product roadmap by capturing client feedback and identifying opportunities for greater efficiency and effectiveness. Role Description As Gropyus moves into the next phase of scaling up, we anticipate our Data growing rapidly. We’re looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Data Governance professional to join the Data and AI vertical. This role reports directly to the Head of Data and AI and will act as a high-level individual contributor as well as a strategic thought partner for the Data Leadership team and partners across Gropyus. A successful candidate will help us apply our Semantic Ontologies to our centralized Data Fabric and consult with tech domain expert teams on improving resilient, secure, and well-documented data in accordance with compliance standards. They will lead initiatives such as: - Expanding current Data Management offerings for the Data Fabric. - Integrating securely and effectively with AI agents and services. - Implementing stronger processes for data provenance within the Tech department. What you'll be doing: - Define, develop, implement and maintain the data governance framework, policies, standards, and procedures. - Contribute to the strategy of the Data Team including proposing and leading governance initiatives for both team roadmaps and potentially the larger company operational milestone. - Pairing with our process specialists, drive to best practices in data management including Data contracts, SOPs, retention, and access control. - Lead and report on data quality initiatives: metrics, monitoring, remediation, profiling, and continuous improvement. - Drive improvements to our Data Catalog and metadata management within Tech. - Support or lead tool selection/implementation for potential additional Data Quality tooling. - Identify and help manage data-related risks; collaborate on audits and compliance reviews. - Contribute to our Data Literacy efforts and expand training opportunities for our internal stakeholders. - Work closely with our Governance, Risk & Compliance, Information Security, and Corporate IT teams to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal requirements. Qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Management, Information Assurance, Computer Science, IT or related fields. - Significant, specialized experience (5+ years) in data governance, data quality, data management. - Experience with data governance frameworks & best practices (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK, data stewardship models). - Strong knowledge of data quality dimensions and tools; ability to define, measure, monitor, remediate data quality. - Good understanding of data architecture, data modeling, metadata management, data lineage. - Strong communication, stakeholder management skills; ability to influence, negotiate, collaborate cross-teams. - Proficient in working with regulatory and legal data/privacy requirements (e.g. GDPR, EU AI Act). Requirements - Hands-on experience with one or more data governance tools/platforms (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation, Talend, data catalogs, metadata tools). - Past projects or familiarity with Ontologies, OWL and Semantic languages. - Familiarity with Data Fabric or Data Mesh frameworks. - Familiarity or Experience with Graph Databases. - Experience with highly complex, dynamic domains (Construction, Consulting, or Health Care). • Design and develop scalable, cloud-native data architectures in BigQuery, ensuring optimal performance, maintainability, and cost efficiency • Build, automate, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using modern data stack tools and custom solutions • Create and optimize business-critical data marts, aggregations, and analytical datasets for reporting, dashboarding, and product insights • Implement data quality frameworks, monitoring systems, logging, and alerting mechanisms to ensure data reliability • Continuously improve performance, scalability, and cost efficiency of production data infrastructure • Partner closely with Data Science teams to build reliable data services, infrastructure, and pipelines supporting machine learning and advanced analytics initiatives • Collaborate with product, analytics, and engineering teams to define and deliver scalable data solutions across the organization
