Position Responsibilities : Interface with internal and external customers and suppliers. Leverage your background in mechanical or electrical engineering to support airborne searchlight systems, ground-based high intensity illumination systems, and space panel/array design. Lead assigned new product development and obsolescence recovery efforts: Translate customer and product requirements into documentation for parts and materials procurement, product manufacturing, and testing. Perform mechanical, electrical, reliability/FMEA, EMC, and DFMAT analyses to optimize new product designs within the confines of schedule and cost objectives.
