Role Description In this role, you will leverage data to drive strategic decision-making by designing, developing and optimizing scalable BI solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to transform complex datasets into actionable insights, build robust data models and dashboards and enhance data-driven decision-making across the organization. What You’ll Do - Develop queries and visualizations for ad-hoc requests and projects, as well as ongoing reporting - Leverage SQL to retrieve, transform and prepare data for robust analyses - Present findings to executive-level digital, marketing and merchandising leadership - Develop best practices for BI and Self Service - Directly query data in the Google Cloud Platform across different environments to prepare data for analytics - Institute an environment of ongoing learning and sharing of skills and knowledge to the broader analytics pyramid - Be a steward of customer, marketing and digital data and collaborate with IT and business stakeholders on projects related to using data and analytics - Additional tasks may be assigned Qualifications - 5+ years of experience, preferably working within a digital, IT, marketing, e-commerce or other applicable field or analytics organization - Advanced proficiency in SQL - Expertise in Qlik, Tableau, PowerBI or Looker Studio - Experience in Adobe Clickstream, Adobe Analytics - Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs - Highly effective at communicating analysis and data visualizations with a non-technical audience - Proven ability to independently determine approaches to efficiently completing projects and managing processes - Knowledge of statistical analysis methods - Conceptual understanding of Data Mining and Machine Learning methodologies for analytical application Requirements - Degree in Mathematics or Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Predictive Analytics or similar (Preferred) - Experience with an object-oriented programming language (R, Python etc.) (Preferred) - Ability to write functions and end-to-end programs (Preferred) - Experience with Data Mining and Machine Learning methodologies (Preferred) - Experience with Google BigQuery (Preferred)

Role Description As an Intelligence Analyst supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Inspector General (OIG), you will help to promote excellence, integrity, and accountability throughout the department charged with keeping Americans safe and secure. You will work closely with DHS OIG Auditors in support of their audits and investigations. Your efforts will contribute to the elimination of waste, fraud, and abuse in the federal government, ensuring Americans’ tax dollars are spent efficiently and effectively. Position is contingent upon contract award Work Schedule and Location: - Remote: This full-time remote position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm. Responsibilities - Support audits of a complex, highly sensitive and investigative nature. - Produce Intelligence Analysis Reports, including supporting graphs, figures, and charts. - Write reports in accordance with DHS OIG audit procedures and the Government Accountability Office’s Yellow Book standards. - Prepare various types of reports, briefings, and testimony. - Conduct research for and prepare proposals for various types of DHS audits. - Conduct investigative research and analysis. - Use databases to investigate misconduct and fraud allegations. - Investigate claims suspected of being fraudulent. - Perform discovery and analysis in support of criminal investigations, write investigative action reports, and review closed investigations to conduct data trend analyses. - Develop new approaches where no precedents exist and creative solutions to any problems encountered. Qualifications - B.A. or B.S. in Intelligence Studies, Political Science, Criminal Justice, Computer Science, Economics, or a similar field of study. - The ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance. - Report-writing experience. - Experience researching and analyzing information drawn from a variety of sources, such as programs, case studies, and policies, to draw conclusions and write reports. • Own, and architect, and build internal datasets for business intelligence reporting • Manage existing infrastructure such as ingestion of data from MySql database to Big Query, Curation of semantic layer between raw source data and Power BI,, internal CRM database, Power Query (M Language), Salesforce, etc. • Build automated, accurate reporting dashboards • Designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Power BI • Manage consumption and access of Power BI reporting across the company • Manage and improve existing data models and relationships • Create DAX based calculations and resolve issues • Resolve any issues related to loops and hierarchy • Create and review models and KPIs • Create and review visualizations • Mature BI model to allow for users to build their own reports (self service) • Work cross-functionally to improve business intelligence architecture and reporting • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, environments, monitoring and operability of Power BI reports. • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders across business and IT organizations. • Implement enterprise grade best practices in data ingestion, semantic layer, and reporting layer
