Field Service Engineer II

• Perform timely and accurate preventative maintenance of medical equipment with a hospital or healthcare system • Perform troubleshooting, service repairs and installations of moderate complexity • Lead communications with customers and serve as escalation point for customer related concerns • Own customer issues from dispatch or identification of issue to resolution • Proactively engage with other team members to ensure appropriate solution for the customer • Leads installations, validations, maintenance, and service repair needs on designated equipment • Collaborate with the customer and/or the sales team to recommend value-added services to help customers run their business more efficiently
Job Requirements
- Associate degree in related field or equivalent military education and 4 years of experience servicing electronic equipment
- High school diploma/GED and 6 years of relevant experience
- Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License
- Experience with Web applications as well as Microsoft suite of products
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required
- Ability to be available after hours and/or work a rotating on-call schedule including weekends
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, competing priorities while maintaining customer satisfaction
- Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based service process

Role Description Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Field Applications Engineer specializing in vision systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in CMOS image sensors, FPGAs, and imaging SoCs, coupled with excellent problem-solving and customer-facing skills. • Develop a strong technical understanding of specified fastening products (under the DEWALT brand), how they are used in construction, and how they are designed in accordance with current building codes. • Establish relationships with key specifying engineering firms in the territory. • Influence designers, architects, and engineers to specify fasteners through regular scheduled visits, education, and technical communication. • Hold regular technical presentations and training seminars for design professionals related to the design of DEWALT products with a focus on details, product performance, characteristics, applications, and code requirements. • Use technical knowledge of products to support and build sales on specification and conversion in conjunction with the local sales team and provide technical job-site support as needed. • Provide assistance on proprietary technical anchor design software to clients and communicate customer feedback for future product developments. • Support local sales efforts from a technical level including jobsite visits. • Ensure that submittals generated by contractors are approved by architects and engineers. • Embrace and become versed in construction technology and future trends influencing the specified fasteners business such as Building Information Modeling, Integrated Project Delivery, and construction software. • Develop and maintain client records in CRM (customer relationship management) tool.
