Job Description

Director of Infrastructure

Shady Grove Fertility

• Oversee day-to-day management of a highly skilled team of network engineers and system administrators • Work with the internal and external stakeholders to help define priorities and manage work intake • Facilitate discussions across the disparate teams making sure communication is flowing in all directions • Provide technical escalation point for production issues • Perform capacity Management and budget planning to ensure infrastructure is in place to meet the needs of the business • Prioritize multiple work streams simultaneously and meet project deadlines • Capture metrics to help make decisions based on the data • Create detailed Documentation

Job Requirements

  • A bachelor’s, or higher, degree in a technical field
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IAC)
  • ITIL Foundations v3 certification or higher
  • 5 Years of experience managing a team of infrastructure engineers
  • 10 Years of experience supporting infrastructure running production workloads
  • 10 Years of experience working within AWS and Azure cloud environments
  • 10 Years of experience supporting large scale networks and data centers
  • 10 Years of Experience working in a change-controlled environment
  • Able to work scheduled and on-call rotations
