• Develop and execute the sales strategy to achieve aggressive net new revenue growth targets from mid-market and enterprise customers. • Build and lead a team of skilled Account Executives, hiring top talent and developing existing team members. • Establish effective sales processes, methodologies, and enablement programs to drive sales productivity and performance. Continuously optimize to improve sales efficiency and close rates. • Define sales territories, quotas, compensation plans, and metrics to drive the right selling behaviors and new customer acquisition. • Conduct regular pipeline reviews, coach Account Executives, and oversee deal progression to meet revenue targets. • Partner with Marketing to align lead generation and campaign efforts with sales priorities. Provide input into ideal customer profiles, messaging, and positioning. • Track key performance metrics like new revenue growth, average deal size, sales velocity, win rates, and customer acquisition costs. Report on progress and address gaps. • Build relationships with customers and industry influencers to strengthen the company's brand and grow the sales pipeline. • Stay up-to-date with relevant sales technologies, tools, and processes to enhance team productivity. • Assist in all facets of sales planning, including regular updates to quotas, headcount, and sales plan. • Drive analytical support and provide to leadership to improve strategies, customer and prospect coverage models and sales team configurations to optimize sales effectiveness. • Maintain key performance metrics and dashboards that help the sales organization focus on performance drivers.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of sales leadership experience, ideally in a high-tech or SaaS company targeting mid-market and enterprise customers.
- Track record of success achieving or exceeding net new revenue growth targets.
- Strong coaching and people leadership abilities. Experience building high-performing sales teams.
- Data-driven mindset. Relies on metrics and analytics to optimize sales performance.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to lead strategic conversations with senior executives.
- Knowledge of sales performance optimization and sales enablement best practices.
