As a Senior Software Engineer on our Growth team, you’ll play a key role in expanding Monarch’s reach and helping more households take control of their financial lives. You’ll lead technical execution across projects that drive user acquisition, activation, and retention and collaborate closely with teammates across engineering, product, marketing, and design. Qualifications - 5+ years of software engineering experience. - Strong coding skills in Python, TypeScript, and React. - Experience leading the feasibility and execution of complex projects. - Technical vision and ability to balance short-term delivery with long-term architectural goals. - Strong product intuition and a passion for building consumer experiences users love, backed by strong quantitative and qualitative understanding of product experiences. - Experience leveraging and extending A/B testing frameworks, experimentation infrastructure, and robust internal analytics. - Bias towards action, and good instinct to decide on the appropriate level of rigor/effort for experiments (when to cut corners, when to invest for the future). - Excellent communication skills, especially with non-technical colleagues (including marketing, product, design, and data science). Requirements - Experience building consumer subscription or SAAS products. - Prior fintech experience. - Experience with analytics tooling including Segment or Amplitude. - Experience with billing systems.
