Labor/Payroll Analyst

HII's Mission Technologies division

Role Description HII‑Mission Technologies is seeking a Labor/Payroll Analyst to join our team. This fully remote role is responsible for processing and auditing labor data, supporting payroll operations, monitoring timesheets, and maintaining effective labor procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance. - Managing all aspects of the labor process, such as approving transactions, importing timesheets, and auditing labor postings. - Work with project teams to process labor corrections and respond to queries about labor postings. - Collaborate with the payroll team on queries regarding labor postings. - Stay up to date with labor legislation. - Ensure compliance with all payroll/labor and organizational policies. - Review the monthly reconciliation of all labor-related accounts. - Ensure timely and professional responses to labor and payroll questions. - Coordinate with internal & external audits. - Assist the general ledger team in account reconciliations and manage labor discrepancies quickly and efficiently. Qualifications - 0 years experience with a Bachelor's in a related field or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience. - Experience with Costpoint & Deltek T&E. - Experience with managing a high volume of employee timesheets. - Excellent Excel skills. - Excellent communication skills. - Familiarity with labor legislation and federal tax laws. - The ability to ethically work with employee-sensitive information. - Solid knowledge of data entry management. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with team members. Qualifications - 2+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Private Equity, Valuation Advisory, or other M&A-related roles. - Excellent analytic, problem solving, and communication skills coupled with a strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity. - Critical thinker with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. - Strong understanding of the M&A process and experience with financial modeling required. - High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including but not limited to Excel and PowerPoint. - Prior experience in telecom or technology preferred. - Interest in understanding new and developing technology trends, desire to advance team initiatives, and passion to take initiative beyond what is asked.
