Clinic Administrative Coordinator

Role Description The Clinic Administrative Coordinator oversees the daily administrative functions of Michigan Humane’s veterinary clinics. - Establish standards for veterinary practice information management systems use. Develop and implement training for users. Keep materials up to date. - Daily administration and support of the veterinary information management system including managing profiles and roles; customization of custom objects, fields, record types, page layouts; ensuring proper closing of invoices and validation of daily data integration. - Establish best practices for use of veterinary information systems for in-field operations and ensure accurate recording-keeping for these activities. - Establish and maintain inventory control procedures in the practice information management system to ensure appropriate stock levels, minimize waste, and prevent stockouts. - Monitor and ensure proper registration of microchips. - Prepare materials for charge capture reviews. - Monitor practice compliance with established standards. - Create and maintain all business requirements documentation, scope out changes to workflow, fields, and profiles and implement changes as directed. - Host facilitated workshops and training sessions. - Responsible for evaluating new version features, communicating value with business, implementing and pushing new versions live into production. Qualifications - High School Diploma - Minimum of 5 years’ experience in veterinary practice management, health care operations or a similar environment - Strong understanding of practice management systems and inventory controls - Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve a common goal - Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Experience in training others - Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
