Job Description
Staff Product Manager
ecoATM | Gazelle
Role Description We are hiring a Staff Product Manager to own the User Experience at our kiosks; responsible for collecting upwards of 20k phones a day. This is a senior individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Director of Product, accountable for the efficiency of kiosks, measured by funnel rates that prove we are getting more customers successfully through the complete transaction. This is the highest visibility product role we have at ecoATM. You will work cross-functionally with software development engineering, hardware, data, and operations teams to push our kiosks towards fully automated operation. What You’ll Own - The end-to-end product roadmap for the kiosk software experience. - Conversion - measurable improvement in the rate at which customers complete their transaction at our kiosks. - Operational Effectiveness as the customer experiences it - vested interest in keeping kiosks in service, cash replenished, and fully functional. - The pre-kiosk journey – partner with our web and app teams to find innovative ways to simplify the user experience even before customers arrive at the Kiosk. - Full product ownership – you own metrics across the entire Kiosk User Experience, not just key metrics. Provide clear and visible insight to the whole org and leadership; what’s working, what’s not, what needs immediate attention, etc. Key Responsibilities - Size opportunities across kiosk performance to ensure prioritization truly solves the biggest problem. - Be a master of saying no, with clear articulation and data that backs reasoning. - Partner with Engineering (Hardware and Operations when relevant) to improve critical steps of the kiosk experience; including but not limited to connecting a device, evaluating a device, removing FMI and other accounts, ID verification, etc. - Collaborate with Data & Analytics to ensure performance and change is measured, credible and solidified with data. - Ensure awareness across the company, the kiosk impacts all departments differently, all need to be completely aware of strategy, roadmap, wins, failures and prioritization strategy. - Travel approximately once per quarter to observe customers, study kiosk function, and partner with various departments to improve and evolve the kiosk experience. Qualifications - 8+ years of product management experience in software development. - Experience building user experiences for a physical product (e.g. Self-service checkout, ordering kiosks, POS, etc.) - A track record of owning key revenue generating metrics. - Strong analytical capability and comfort defining (or evolving) operational KPIs with data teams. - Demonstrated ability to operate as a senior IC in a cross-functional, execution-focused environment. - Experimentation mindset with real history of A/B tests that substantiate incremental gains. What Success Looks Like - Continued progression in kiosk conversion rate. - Strong cross-functional trust and execution discipline. - Clear and concise ownership of kiosk metrics, fluent ability to explain what funnel data means to the customer. - Full circle understanding of prioritization between complex and intertwined needs, fluent in articulation of what is and is not being done. Location Remote - must reside in the United States. Travel approximately once per quarter. Compensation Salary Range: $176,700 - $227,600/yr. This position may also be eligible for short-term and long-term incentives based on individual and company performance. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
