Role Description The Director of Operations is responsible for the day-to-day tactical execution, administrative deadlines, and cross-functional management of the campus. Providing support and recommendations to the President and above all functional department heads, this role ensures that the strategic priorities and goals established by the President are translated into daily operational success. The Director of Operations (DOO) provides support, oversight, monitoring, and day-to-day supervision to the Admissions, Education, and Career Services departments to achieve compliant operations, optimal efficiency, and quality delivery of student services. Key Responsibilities - Manage the daily operational engine of the campus, executing tactical actions that directly align with the strategic priorities set by the President. - Serve as the primary operational point of contact for the campus, ensuring all departments run cohesively, efficiently, and with high morale. - Coordinate cross-functional workflows between Admissions, Education, and Career Services to streamline the student journey from enrollment to graduation and employment. - Conduct operational meetings, review and analyze daily/weekly assessment data, compile performance reports, and meet all administrative deadlines. - Assist to supervise, coach, and evaluate the performance of the Director of Admissions, Director of Education, and Director of Career Services, when and as directed by the President. - Ensure department heads have the tactical tools, knowledge, and skills required to meet their specific targets and compliance standards. - Drive accountability across all functional departments, intervening to resolve daily bottlenecks, student service issues, and operational roadblocks. - Daily monitor and enforce campus-level compliance with all federal, state, and regulatory body guidelines, alongside company internal policies. - Routinely audit and monitor services from all functional departments to guarantee a high-quality educational experience and successful student outcomes. - Manage day-to-day facilities, resource allocations, and operational spending in alignment with the approved campus budget. - Maintain transparent, constant communication with the President, providing data-driven operational updates and escalation management. - Demonstrate the highest levels of integrity, professionalism, and customer service in an observation- and coaching-style work environment. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in business, education, or a related field from an academic institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; OR an Associate degree in a related field with substantive relative operational experience. - At least three years of operational or multi-facility management experience, with strong preference given to those with proprietary, direct educational management experience. - Proven record of successful personnel, budgetary, and daily organizational management. - Knowledge of and experience with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within adult education. - Superior organizational, problem-resolution, and interpersonal communication skills. - Must have past records of integrity supporting compliance with accrediting standards and regulatory requirements. - Strong computer software skills, including Microsoft Office/Google Suite and industry-related software. Requirements - Previous experience as a campus department manager or assistant campus director in a proprietary education setting. - Knowledge and experience with the understanding, analysis, and execution of financial reports and income statements. - Experience with CampusVue/Anthology academic and administrative platforms. - Direct familiarity with regulatory compliance guidelines in the education sector. This position sets the strategic direction for quality across all product categories and global markets, ensuring our vendor base — particularly overseas manufacturing partners — meets and exceeds compliance and quality standards across the U.S., EU, Canada, Australia, and all emerging international markets. The Director will partner closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams — including Product Development, Technical Design, and Retail Operations — to embed quality at every stage of the product lifecycle, from concept through final delivery. This role is critical to Comfrt's continued global growth and its commitment to delivering products that reflect our brand promise of comfort, quality, and confidence.
