They should exhibit outstanding communication skills and have proven experience managing and building teams. The Associate Production Director will work with the cinematic project producers and related department leaders, to ensure the successful production of cinematics for the studio. They will act as the team manager, as well as strategist, and collaborator, across the various teams both inside and outside of the Story and Franchise Development department. You will be well-versed in leading projects through an animation pipeline, experienced at mentoring a team, and able to work well in a fluid production environment. Primary duties will include oversight of all cinematic trailers and promotional shorts, ensuring projects are produced efficiently and at the quality expected from Blizzard’s cinematics team. While the production of the content will generally be the responsibility of those reporting to this position, the Associate Production Director will facilitate and help advance production while managing and improving the skill set of the individual producers. This role is a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The home studio for this role is Irvine, CA. This is a 12-month temporary position.
