Job Description

Meditech Implementation Program Director

Ellit Groups

• Serve as the senior Meditech subject matter expert, providing strategic guidance during the pre-contract and planning phases • Lead the end-to-end MaaS implementation across multiple hospital facilities, managing scope, timeline, budget, and quality • Partner directly with Meditech's implementation team to coordinate phase gates, workflow assessments, standard content deployment, and go-live readiness • Oversee all clinical, revenue cycle, and operational workstreams including third-party integrations • Manage the transition from a legacy EHR environment to Meditech Expanse, including data conversion planning, interface development oversight, and legacy system decommissioning • Coordinate with change management, training, and at-the-elbow (ATE) support teams • Communicate project status, risks, and resource needs to executive leadership at both Ellit Groups and the client organization • Build and manage the implementation team, including recruitment of SMEs across clinical, revenue cycle, and informatics disciplines

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of Meditech implementation experience, with at least 2 implementations on MaaS
  • Demonstrated experience as a Program Director, Project Director, or PMO lead for a Meditech implementation
  • Deep understanding of the MaaS delivery model, including standard content, pod architecture, and Meditech's phase gate methodology
  • Experience with EHR conversions from Cerner/Oracle Health, Epic, or other legacy platforms to Meditech Expanse (strongly preferred)
  • Broad knowledge across clinical (PCS, EDM, OM), revenue cycle, pharmacy, and ambulatory modules
  • Experience managing complex third-party integration environments (10+ vendor integrations)
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to present confidently to C-suite stakeholders
  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification preferred
  • Willingness to travel to client site in the Northeastern United States as needed
