This role is eligible for an incentive target of up to 10 % or $ , based on the achievement of individual and company performance objectives in accordance with the current terms of the incentive program which are subject to change. Position Details The Public Safety Emergency Mgment Specialist is accountable for driving the success, growth, and operational effectiveness of assigned channel business partners. You will serve as the day-to-day owner for channel partner performance, acting as a strategic advisor and execution leader to ensure mutual growth, operational alignment, and long-term partnership value.   You will focus on building channel relationships, identifying workstreams for revenue generation and value delivery, facilitating resource management to ensure exceptional and timely execution of initiatives, building and launching value added programs and advising channel resellers on change-management strategies to achieve goals. Primary customers are corrections, law enforcement, fire protection and emergency management. You Will - Serve as the primary liaison between the SCBM, assigned channel resellers, Grainger internal teams, and end customers to align priorities, execution, and issue resolution. - Serve as the primary point of accountability for reseller success across growth, retention, operational health, and escalations, ensuring performance outcomes that protect and expand revenue and margin. - Lead joint growth plans and execution roadmaps with resellers across a portfolio of programs/initiatives, translating performance insights into prioritized actions and recommending adjustments to partner strategy and operating model when needed. - Influence partner behavior and outcomes without direct authority, coordinating cross-functionally (Sales, Customer Solutions, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Operations, Finance) and with suppliers to drive consistent execution and results across multiple resellers and/or customer segments. - Own channel resellers success after SOW signature including growth, retention, and issue resolution. - Seeks to stay abreast of new developments/offerings on products and solutions to apply knowledge effectively in the business - Prepares and presents structured meetings to ensure execution of critical areas of the business (OPS Review, Quarterly Program Management Meetings, Annual Executive Review, etc.) You Have - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required - 3+ years required - Analyzes qualitative and quantitative information to identify issues, assess options, and align recommendations to business and financial considerations - Evaluates issues with a long‑term perspective, assesses trade‑offs, and aligns actions to strategic objectives - Builds and maintains working relationships with internal and external stakeholders; communicates clearly and collaborates cross‑functionally to advance work - Influences outcomes by aligning stakeholders, setting expectations, and coordinating work without direct authority - Prioritizes work and allocates time to meet customer commitments and service expectations - Identifies and resolves conflicts between post‑contract collaboration program intent and business line or regional priorities through facilitation and stakeholder alignment - Travel expected (estimated 50%-75% travel) - Individual will support customers in IL, IN, KY, MI, and OH and can live in any of those states ideally near a major airport. #LI-LB1 We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity or expression, protected veteran status or any other protected characteristic under federal, state, or local law.
