Field Sales Representative – Business Partner Salon

• Provide ongoing information and expert advice to hairdressers and their salon teams based on individual customer needs and in accordance with Wella guidelines • Sell our products and service concepts through persuasive presentations and arguments • Conduct sales negotiations taking into account specified terms, budgets and promotions • Identify sales potential and additional customer needs of assigned salon clients • Prepare proposals and solutions for salon management and salon development opportunities to increase revenue • Present and independently plan customer-specific promotions and oversee their implementation • Advise customers on financing options to support client retention • Sell and coordinate services and professional seminars • Implement market-development measures agreed with your manager • Identify potential new customers and actively acquire them • Conduct annual development discussions with customers • Advise customers on promotional materials and product shelf placement
Job Requirements
- Completed three-year vocational training (commercial qualification; hairdressing qualification is an advantage)
- Initial professional experience (2–3 years) in customer-facing roles and/or sales
- Strong communication skills and an effective, sustainable approach to work
- Above-average willingness to learn and high performance drive
- Strong organizational skills, quick responsiveness and high flexibility
- Team player
- Self-initiative and ability to work and decide independently on-site (at the customer's premises)
- High service and customer orientation
- Analytical thinking skills
- Confident use of MS Office and digital media
- Valid driver's license (car)
- Excellent German language skills, spoken and written
- Willingness to travel

Role Description We are looking for an ambitious, forward-thinking and sales-minded individual to join our team. You will work remotely out of a home office selling Gates products throughout Philadelphia. Products include automotive and heavy-duty belts, hoses, engine metals, water pumps, and hydraulics. This exciting opportunity offers you a chance to build sales with our existing customer base and to grow new business as we rely heavily on our Automotive and Heavy-Duty Aftermarket distribution channels to grow revenue. Key Job Responsibilities: - Responsible for territory sales of $14+ million annually. - Researching customer needs and developing a plan by account to increase sales of products and services. - Take responsibility for effective communication internally and externally. - Build trust by addressing opportunities and concerns in a timely manner. - Implement sales strategies to accelerate growth of all Gates products in existing and new markets. - Monitor competitive environment to identify opportunities and countermeasures to address competition. - Perform product changeovers and new product set ups at customer locations. - Maintaining up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that affect target markets.
