Job Description

Field Service Technician

Shape Technologies Group

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, and repair Waterjet, CNC Laser and Press Brake systems • Provide on-site and remote technical support to ensure optimal machine performance • Train customers in machine operation, preventive maintenance, and safety procedures • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and software issues • Complete detailed service documentation and reports • Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and assist with parts identification • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours and holiday support • Perform routine and preventive maintenance

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required; AA degree in Electronics, Robotics, or Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Waterjet, CNC Laser, or Press Brake
  • Hands-on experience with industrial machinery installation or field service
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
  • Valid driver’s license and passport
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends
