Job Description

Contract Management Leader

Switzerland Global Enterprise

• Define and execute the regional contract management strategy in alignment with business objectives • Proactively identify and mitigate contractual, commercial, and legal risks across the project portfolio • Provide authoritative guidance on complex disputes, including multi-party claims, force majeure, and termination scenarios • Shape commercial positioning from tender stage through project close-out, ensuring flow down of terms towards suppliers, contractors and partners • Lead the identification, negotiation, and resolution of high-value offensive and defensive claims • Utilize advanced delay, disruption, and quantum assessment methodologies to build robust claim positions • Coordinate with Legal and project teams to manage formal dispute resolution (mediation, arbitration, litigation) • Mentor and develop the Regional Contract Management Team, fostering a high-performance culture • Define performance goals, manage staffing needs, and ensure workload optimization • Enforce rigorous application of standard work practices and quality procedures • Lead continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizen) and capture 'Lessons Learned' to drive commercial excellence

Job Requirements

  • University degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, or Business Administration from an accredited University or college
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in large, complex infrastructure projects (Energy, Power Transmission, Oil & Gas, or Industrial Construction)
  • Demonstrated success in managing the full lifecycle of complex claims and leading high-stakes negotiations
  • Extensive experience with international frameworks (FIDIC, NEC, EPC, or bespoke contracts)
  • Proven track record in regional or functional leadership, managing professional teams
  • Professional fluency in English (French would be a plus)
