Role Description As a remote Loan Servicing Specialist, you’ll own the full lifecycle servicing of our Bridge Loan portfolio, from funding through payoff, while driving process improvements and cross-functional collaboration across a fast-paced, remote-first team. This role is critical to delivering an exceptional borrower experience while maintaining compliance and managing risk. - Manage a high-volume loan portfolio, serving as the primary point of contact for all servicing communication with borrowers from funding through payoff, providing the highest level of customer service, confidentiality and integrity. - Partner with title companies and borrowers to track active closings, issue accurate payoff statements, and ensure loans are paid in full. - Monitor loans approaching due dates weekly, escalate delinquency risks to management with supporting data, recommended resolution strategies, and work cross-functionally with Listing Operations and Finance to drive resolution. - Follow up on all outstanding loan payments, tracking open items and escalating unresolved balances to management. - Comply with all company policies, and both state and national regulations, ensuring every servicing action is documented and audit-ready. - Liaise with third-party vendors to manage the full Lien Release / Paid-in-Full and default process, tracking each file and escalating delays. - Propose and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, and support the adoption of new systems, product enhancements, and automation tools. - Lead and contribute to special projects, research, and data analysis as assigned, delivering findings in structured reports with clear recommendations for leadership. - Prepare and assemble data for daily, weekly, and monthly portfolio reports, covering delinquency, payoff volume, and portfolio health metrics for management review. Qualifications - Loan Servicing Experience in mortgage/financial services industry preferred. - Experience in Real Estate preferred (e.g., Listing Agent, Listing Coordination, Home Renovations, REO). - Strong customer service and communication skills, able to navigate sensitive borrower conversations including delinquency, default, and payoff disputes. - Ability to prioritize, organize and manage a high volume of work. - Strong reasoning skills and independent decision-making capability. - Experience with loan servicing software and processes. - Inclination to learn, take on new projects, and advance current skills. - Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers, co-workers, and outside business professionals. - Ability to adapt quickly to changes and perform in a fast-paced environment. - Independent worker and analytical thinker with the ability to conduct research, data analysis and solve problems. The Strategic Client Executive (SCE) is a key member of the Account Management Team and has overall responsibility for the client relationship. The SCE manages ongoing client, broker and consultant relationships for an assigned book of business and is responsible for persistency goals and upselling new business within their book.
