Role Description We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Cloud Engineer III - Remote (prefer candidates from Texas). This position serves as the senior technical resource defining, designing, and leading technology solution implementation across the Hanger Enterprise. - Design technical solutions that are fit for purpose and fit for use, while exceeding all Cybersecurity, administrative, compliance, and operational requirements. - Serve as a lead technical resource supporting business partners, technology requestors, 3rd parties, and Sr. staff. - Lead contract development activities such as quoting, statement of work, software licensing, and others as assigned. - Develop executive level reporting services that drive clarity, outcomes, and strategic development activities. - Drive technology integration into our chosen cloud provider. - Design and implement IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions that exceed on-premise service requirements. - Facilitate the re-engineering of technology capabilities and operations to improve quality, efficiency, security, and reliability. - Work as both a team member and a team mentor in all aspects of technology and service implementation. Your Impact - Troubleshoot reported incidents and problems. - Provide support for any problems associated with the platform infrastructure for OnPrem, IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. - Develop documentation and mentor Jr. team members in process development, documentation standards, and remediation processes. - Design technology solutions that meet technical requirements as defined by architectural documentation. - Document and maintain an inventory of all technology platforms. - Install, configure, and maintain server software including configurations such as IP, SAN, OS, Policies, etc. - Monitor, administer and support all infrastructure technology platforms. - Monitor and maintain on-premise and cloud-based backup and recovery service as documented by Hanger policies and Standard Operating Procedures. - Develop and implement automated backup strategies for both on-premises and cloud infrastructure. - Automate the failover and fallback process to ensure reliability and availability using Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery. - Provide subject matter expertise in the implementation and development of on-premise and cloud-based technology services. - Mentor Jr team members in the appropriate development, validation, and configuration of infrastructure services. - Design backup/recovery solutions that meet the business requirements and policy expectations set forth by Hanger. - Administer routine validation audits of the backup and recovery environments. - Provide oversight and support for infrastructure service capabilities across all technology domains with Cybersecurity related controls and services. - Design and implement services and procedures that comply with Sarbanes-Oxley, CyberSecurity, HIPAA, and Hanger regulations and policies. - Participate in Internal Audit and External Audit activities. - Provide leadership in the design, development, and delivery of cloud solutions. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is desired; 2 years of experience can be substituted for one year of formal education. - 8+ years’ experience supporting a Windows server and Linux environment. - 4+ years experience supporting Microsoft Azure. - Microsoft AZ-900 and AZ-104 certifications, or equivalent experience. - Basic knowledge of programming or scripting skills in any language. - Understanding of policies, procedures and management documentation. - Experience developing and maintaining automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Microsoft DevOps. - Expert level knowledge and design experience with Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Powershell, Linux, Microsoft Endpoint Management (SCCM and SCOM). - Design and administration experience with hardware in areas including compute, storage and backup. - Experience with x86 hardware and Enterprise Storage Appliances and Arrays. - Design experience with compute and storage provisioning and administration in AWS and/or Azure.
