Job Requirements

  • Degree-educated in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
  • Strong consulting (7+ years), communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote & customer-facing setting
  • Deep familiarity with Databricks features including AI, ML, Engineering and Analytics features
  • 7+ years of Databricks solution design, implementation, engineering experience
  • 5+ years building data pipelines in Databricks using PySpark, Scala and/or Spark SQL OR 5+ years ML Engineering or AI Engineering deploying, promoting and serving ML models
  • Hands-on working knowledge of Databricks ML and Gen AI features
  • Expertise in software engineering or DevOps concepts & best practices is preferred
  • Experience in terraform deploying and configuring metastores and workspaces on any cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP) highly desirable
  • Any Databricks certificates are highly regarded
  • Willingness to travel

Role Description As a Solutions Architect, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering technology-enabled FP&A transformations. You will leverage Pigment to help clients reimagine their planning, reporting, and analysis processes. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients while mentoring junior consultants, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction. You’ll lead or support delivery teams, collaborate with client stakeholders, and help build the Pigment delivery capability within the EPM practice—bringing tailored solutions to the financial services and alternative investments sectors.
