Estimator

EC Source Services, LLC

• Generate bid hour and bid sheets for substation and transmission line projects. • Reach out to suppliers to gather and confirm pricing information. • Prepare detailed take-offs and staking sheets for accurate project estimation. • Review bid documents to ensure thorough understanding and accuracy. • Perform site visits as needed to collect relevant information and assess project requirements. • Collect and analyze historical cost data to enhance estimates for ongoing and future projects. • Develop estimates to support management in project planning, organization, and scheduling. • Interpret blueprints and other documentation to provide accurate time, cost, material, and labor estimates.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in utility construction estimating - Transmission line or Substation
  • Experience with EPC Estimating
  • Strong background in Microsoft Office applications as well as construction estimating software.
  • B2W experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Sound organizational skills with attention to detail.
